Humoresque is a short piano piece that was composed by Antonín Dvořák in 1883. The piece is in the form of a scherzo and is characterized by its playful and humorous melody.
Humoresque was first performed in public in 1884 by the composer himself. It has since become one of the most popular piano pieces in the world, and is often played as an encore. It has also been arranged for other instruments, including the flute.
